A Trip to The New Zealand's Education and Research City
So we are going. After a lot of talk and planning the time is drawing near around the world we leave in four weeks. So much to see and so little time. Hamilton is centre of New Zealand’s fourth largest urban area. Do not ever miss to visit Hamilton Gardens. Trip to Hamilton Zoo is an owe some experience. It houses about 600 native New Zealand and exotic animals. Hamilton is the place where 9 major events are organized a year. Some of the them are - The Great Race and Parachute music festival, which are of most attraction. You can have some fun with family at Water world. This is one of the largest indoor and outdoor facilities in the country. It discovers Waitomo caves for an extraordinary subterranean adventure.
We started our journey from Delhi to Auckland by Indian Airline flight. It took around 15 hour to reach Auckland. We arrived at Auckland airport around 6pm according to the New Zealand time zone. New Zealand is 6:30 hours ahead of India. We collect our luggage from custom and hired a cab and move towards the Hamilton. We arrived at hotel at 8:30 pm. We were so tired from that tedious journey we got fresh and had dinner and went to bed bed directly.
Next morning woke up at 7:30 am got fresh and had breakfast and planned to discover the Hamilton. We boarded into bus and went to Waikato museum. The Waikato Museum, Victoria and Grantham streets, and Excite are especially of good value and wonderful experiences for adults & children . Fine display of Maori art and carving can be seen from the area's Tainui people, in the museum. Museam provides a learning environment for children. You need to donate some exhibitions are charged to take admission there.
It was the good place we clicked there some pics and went to the next place Hamilton Zoo, Free Flight Sanctuary. It takes 10 minutes from State Highway 1, west of Hamilton. It gets open daily at 9am and close at 5pm. Night openings are also on Wednesday and Saturday in January and in February also. If you are at this end of town, you should go bit farther to Waingaro Hot Springs. Big watersides, thermal mineral pools, , bumper boats which make the place terrific family outing. It gets open daily from 9am to 10pm. We visited this place for 2 to 3 hour and then we had our lunch, and then we decided to go to experiencing the cave. It is the very busy place because of tourist. 
There is remarkable limestone caves in the small village about 70km south of Hamilton. You can reach the area via Waitomo Shuttle. We boarded into bus from Hamilton to cave place. Daily service is available at Waitomo Wanderer between the caves and Rotorua. Magic Travelers also run to the area. It was the awesome place where we enjoy a lot and clicked some photo, by the evening we enjoy there a lot. Then we had a cab to hotel it was the busiest day of our day, when we reached at hotel at 10 pm. We enjoy the dinner and went to bed.
Next morning we woke up at 8 am and got fresh and had breakfast and started off to Hamilton Gardens. Apart from 'Normal' gardens such as The Rhododendron Lawn and Rose garden, visitors have option to go and see 'Themed' garden and the American Revolutionist Garden among others. Entrance to gardens is free, but one you should keep in mind in some of the gardens entrance after 7:30 PM is prohibited. We visited so many garden there at least 1 to 2 everyday. Then we went to the Hamilton lake.
Hamilton Lake, or Lake Rotoroa, which is situated in the heart of Hamilton, is being used for wide variety of re-creational activities which is important habitat for wildlife. There is 3.8km distance which takes approximate 45 minute by circular walk around one of the city's hidden paradises. You can get relax in picnic area, enjoy the playground, as well as enjoy the scenery. It is a lovely place to enjoy and feel the beauty the nature. Then we had lunch and started off to the Seddon Park.
The Seddon Park is the place where cricket venues are fixed. Many events is being hosted such as ODIs and Test matches. Big Malls in Hamilton offer wide selection of food, variety in fashion and more. Do not forget to visit the Westfield Group and the Downtown Plaza for trilled shopping adventure. Tourist can enjoy sight seeing in Hamilton’s old landmarks. It is a good place to visit and plenty of nature is there. We clicked so many pics there , and went to the last venue of the day. Hamilton is situated behind Chief Post Office, in a building designed on the banks of the Waikato River. 
Floor-to-ceiling glass ensures restaurant and gaming customers to enjoy spectacular views. We try our luck that evening but we were not lucky at that day. We didn't try more we enjoy there little wine and snacks. In late evening we went back to hotel and had dinner.
Next morning it was our last day in Hamilton so we choose some tippical location to wander. We got fresh and had breakfast and caught a cab to the History and Heritage. We visit and find out more about the city's rich history and heritage buildings by taking yourself on a tour. Hamilton East Heritage Trail leaflets are available from the i-SITE, Hamilton City Council, Waikato Museum, all libraries and The Cook Cafe & Bar in Hamilton East. Hamilton has plenty of historic sites, we also went to the some research and educational center also. There are so many educational center there, it is a good place for the study and research. 
Then we had our lunch and went to the Riff-Raff which is a statue of the iconic Riff-Raff character from the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The statue commemorates the development of ideas and the writing of Rocky Horror Picture Show by Richard O'Brien - who lived in Hamilton and worked for theater, where the statue is on Victoria Street. It is a beautiful place to visit. It was the last place our in Hamilton. After some wonderful days in Hamilton, we have to left that city. We came to hotel packed our luggage and took a cab towards the airport it was an awesome experience.
