Hello friends, first I would introduce myself and then start sharing my unforgettable experience to the one of most exciting city Dallas, in the U.S. state of Texas. I am Arvind , passionate about traveling to new places . Annie is my best friend and both of us work for a music company in New Delhi. It was the month of April when we got a chance to visit Dallas. Both of us are quite excited as we have never been to US before. Both of us managed to get the leave from work for three days. Annie did a lot of research about the place, the prime locations and the other best places to get around. When Annie showed me a list of places that are worth visit I was really impressed by her work. She told me that Dallas Museum, Dallas Zoo, Sixth Floor Museum, Fair Park and Dallas’ Arts District are some of the main attractions of the city. We started our journey to the Dallas on Friday evening and we board a plane from IGI airport New Delhi at 6’O clock in the evening. We had an idea that the flight would be long but when we flight attendant welcome us during take off from New Delhi, she told us it would take approximately fifteen hours to get to Dallas. When we landed at Dallas Fort Worth International airport I thanked the Almighty as we had finally reached there. We hire a taxi from the airport as it was dark night there when we reached there and asked our driver to drove us to the nearby hotel. Fortunately we got a room near downtown Dallas. Next morning we looked for the places those were near to our hotel so that we could visit those places first. After consulting the member of the hotel we came to know that White Rock Lake is just few minutes from the downtown Dallas.
White Rock Lake
Since the spring has just started then so in the morning we decided to go to the Dallas arboretum.
There are no. of gardens & fountains in arboretum with a beautiful lake view & downtown Dallas skyline. In Rancho Encinal, the maximum no. of grounds were part of 44 acres that was built for geophysicist Everett Lee DeGolyer & for his wife Nell. In the national register of historic places the DeGolyer Home is listed. The Dallas Arboretum & Botanical gardens has formed by the DeGolyer estate in 1976. The addit, where the camp estate adjoined it, increases the 22 acres i.e. to 66 acres.
For the whole day we enjoyed a concert and had a walk in the evening on the lake. Since we had our dinner at White Rock Lake , so we came to the room late at night after strolling for an hour after our dinner.
Next day we went to Dallas museum of art & go on the sixth floor museum. We were so excited about Dallas museum of art. The most enjoyable spot in the town is the cool anchor of arts district. Thee amazing gallaries teaming with art from America, Europe, Africa and Asia. 8oo new works of art were injected in 2005. The monets and cezannas in the river collection of imprenionist painting and a lot more.

Sixth Floor Museum
Since we have been granted the holiday for limited five days so on the last day we have planned to cover Dallas Zoo, Wilson Block and Dallas Arts District. Since Zoo was just 3 miles away from the downtown so we started from the Zoo.
Dallas Zoo
The zoo is divided into three major regions, Zoo North, Wilds of Africa, and Giants of the Savanna. We spent our evening wandering through the Wilson Block. It is on the corner of the Swiss Avenue and Oak street. It has films and a library and is open to public. Each Dallas offer insight to Dallas past, its Victorian and Neoclassical architectury early bathroom arrangements. Immediately across the street is Central square, a shady spot for picnic. There we came to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport from where our flight is scheduled at 7 PM. We reached New Delhi at 12’O clock according to the Indian time and it was late night so I went along with Annie to drop her at her house. Next morning when I woke up I was feeling totally rejuvenated and I can say that Dallas is one of the must see city for everyone.
