Hello friends my name is Sohan , I will share with you my experience of the recent short trip to Amsterdam(Netherlands)with my brother Sahil. Before sharing my experience with you i would like to tell something about us , Sahil is my best friend and both of us have a common passion for traveling. We have traveled almost whole North India , and sometimes even my other friends doubt about our friendship. Sahil worked as a professor in a college in South Delhi and his college is closed in December because of the dense fog. On Saturday evening in December when I called him and asked about whether he would like to go to Amsterdam , he immediately said yes, when I asked him about his response then he told me that his college is closed for another week because of weather . Finally both of us decided that we will go the Amsterdam. I have gathered the information from the internet about Netherlands. Amsterdam has a impressive architecture and lovely canals . I took five day leave from work so that we could spent at least three days in Amsterdam. We took a plane from IGI airport in New Delhi on Saturday at around 9’O clock and when we reached Amsterdam International airport in Schiphol, it was 7:30 AM according to the local time there. We hire a cab from the airport to the city center. When reached the city ,at once started to look for a hotel and fortunately we got a good one within half an hour. We decided to took rest because of the long journey and in the evening at 4’O clock we went to see the one of the finest museum in Netherlands , the Rijksmuseum .
We hire a cab from the hotel and went to the Rijksmuseum. When we reached there we saw that some part of the museum was under renovation. Still the portion which was opened for visitors took our two hours. Some one told us that Rijksmuseum is the largest museum in Netherlands, where millions of visitors came their from all around the World every year . The Rijksmuseum illustrates the brilliant chunks of Dutch art from 17th century, which is called the Golden Age of the Netherlands. Their is also a place Museum treasury

In In the evening we decided to have some fun and went to the Red Light District as we were feeling a bit tired. We went to the bar a enjoyed a lot and I drunk full to my capacity. The place Red Light District Really is like sexual amusement park. The Red Window lights are colliding against the erratic,canal houses and fairy lights decorate the bridge with colored red. It is considered to be very safe area for walking in the quieter streets of that area. Photography is strictly banned there. When we reached at the hotel it was 1’O clock by my watch, and I don’t exactly remember when I got asleep . Next morning we went to the Royal Palace. We spend good three hours there . It is used for Royal Events.

Since our flight is scheduled at 5:30 PM on Wednesday and we have still not visited the most sought after region of the Amsterdam that is Jordan. On Friday when we woke up we directly went to the Jordan. The converted warehouses are especially popular, and the Jordan is now settle by a colorful people.
On Friday we were free at 4’O clock and we took a cab directly to the airport from Jordan. At airport we had a little snacks and board the flight , and at 10’O clock we reached New Delhi. It was my one of the best overseas tour and both of us enjoyed to the full extent.
